One Day More

from May 29, 2017

The meeting did not go well. We met with the Directors from the State Inspection office and City Inspection office. They said the private lab test we had done does not count because we could only find one lab to do the test. They do not care what any results would be from another country. They blame us for bringing in toxic beans to the country and we should have checked with the importer and the country to make sure that the beans were safe.
We will be fined for bringing in toxic beans, possibly 50 times the lowest salary at UBean. We will be fined for roasting and selling toxic beans. The Inspector was unsure how much that would be. They also said they might revoke our import license.
We are losing $5,000 worth of beans that we will not recover. We could be fined about $10,000. After salary is paid tomorrow, we will not have it. Besides, if they take our import license, we will be finished.
We were supposed to turn over our beans today. However, someone was not there to receive them so we have to bring them in tomorrow. We have one day more with the beans. This is our last chance to intercede. I am praying the Christ will visit the Directors in their dreams and change their minds. I am praying that tomorrow morning we will receive miraculous news that they are letting us keep the beans and not issuing us a fine. I am praying that God will move and we will continue on.
However, if it is God's will to end UBean, I accept and welcome it. I know that he is not surprised, he is not disappointed, he knew this would happen and he will do something even greater here because our God will not be denied His glory.
